Instead, the only thing you offered as "evidence" (that was the word you used) of anything at all was a totally untrue accusation about something you claimed LW had said, and which you now admit she didn't say.
So did you read the transcripts with your eyes closed? Or did you read them as thoroughly as you claim to have done, but are still unable to locate in them a single scrap of evidence that LW was guilty of anything whatsoever?

That is misleading; it suggests that her team presented that theory during the trial, which they did not. It was long after the trial had ended that ONE of her lawyers, Harvey Silverglate, put forward that possibility as a purely personal opinion. That is very different from "her defense team" making a "claim".

I think it was you who said you were "*horrified*" that someone merely suggested that the Eappens might have been negligent for not having "brought up their issues sooner" when in fact what they could be quite legitimately accused of - all backed by irrefutable evidence if you want it - is far, far more serious than that.
