Normally, that's a safe bet. :)
Thanks. I've copied and pasted it into a file breastled "ammo." Heh...
so you it, but right
Well, I tried that with the GTT today, and I was basically told that I would be putting my baby at "high risk" (how declination of a screening test can take a seriously UNcomplicated, UNeventful pregnancy and suddenly make it high risk is beyond my comprehension...) and that I'd be increasing my risk of still birth. I didn't know how to argue with, "well, that's nice, but you'll kill your baby."
At my mom's recommendation, I'm going to a LLL meeting tomorrow night, to hopefully get the scoop on my doctor, and other doctors in my area. I'm very seriously considering a switch. I have a strong feeling that my doctor is a "yes man" for the first 40 weeks of pregnancy, but when the rubber meets the road, he turns into a "yes, as long as you do it my way man." I really don't want to have to fight with anyone when I'm 8 cm dilated, so I'd better start looking now for someone whose philosophy lines up a little more closely with mine, or I'm going to be in trouble later.

Thanks. I think I'm going to tattoo that across my belly! (God knows there's plenty of room for me to do so in a 24 point font! :) )
I really appreciate your help. Really, really. Amy
