any young mums 4955Jamie Clark Hmmm, for me that would have to have been phrased along the lines of "why didn't you get married once you decided to have the baby?" Or, if you buttume that one...
So we went to the u-s, and Juliet waited exhausted and crying with her Godmother while we went back. (I wore her out earlier at the park so she just wanted to go home and nap, not wait without me in some strange waiting room, poor thing)
The u-s tech was cranky. It was a really busy day judging from the waiting room, so I hardly blame her for being rather short. I hopped up on the table and got greased up on the belly. I'm spot on where I thought the placenta must be because of where I feel movement compared to where I don't feel movement. The placenta is on my left front side, and all the baby movements are on the right side.
The tech was showing us various parts as she was getting into the whole measurement thing and then I noticed without a doubt I have a don't look at me child in my belly. The wand would go one way and I'd feel the whole belly roll against the wand trying to get more comfortable.
When the tech got more into doing the measurement, she got more snippy out of frustration of my child not holding still at all for her. It took a lot of roll this way, now roll that ways to get the limited about of measurements she did get in. We saw lovely shots of internal structure, the spine, the awesome kick power of my baby's legs, and that was about it.
"I give up..."
We got two pictures, one of the length of the body looking down with no face really detectable and one shot of the length of a leg with the foot. My favorite is the second shot! ;)
Wanna know someone new's gender? Yeah me too. Heck I would have loved to see someone new's face for that matter. =oP
