Travel at 2829 weeks 88

No problem. If you feel up to it, you should be just fine. Make sure you get enough rest before, and drink lots of water the last two days before you travel. Also drink plenty of water again the day after you travel, so you stay hydrated. That way you can limit your intake (and bathroom visits) during the flight. If you are prone to having lots of BH contractions, you can also consider taking additional 400mg of magnesium daily, but that might trigger your bowels in an unpleasant way (if you want to know what it does for you, try it at least a week before you fly).

I got this advice from my OB-GYN, as I will be flying trans-atlantic while being 26w preggers with twins. My OB saw absolutely no reason to prevent that, and so I would think being 28-29w with a singleton should be no problem at all, provided you are in good shape otherwise.
