Sometimes there just isn't data

Well, my kiddo managed to be *that* unique. If there's a case report on an identical deletion, I've yet to see it. Which could be good--it may mean that other people with that deletion just arent' odd enough to get karotyped. Or she could be unusual in a way that just doens't happen very often.

Shiny's still gaining, not quite an ounce per day, but she's about 6 oz over birthweight, finally. I looked at baby pictures tonight--she actually looks most like my baby pics in her face. Breastfeeding is just now, the past couple days, balancing out. I produce about 6 oz more per day than she cares to eat, and can gush milk for her basically on command. We found a position which is hell on my back but easier for her to get a good latch and drink efficiently--flat on her back with me leaning over her. Just doens't work as well any other way. I still have to wake her up to feed.

We noticed that she has hands just like my sister's... tapered fingers, short palms, incurving pinkies..

We have an appointment in Portland (2 hrs away) Monday with a genetics counselor. I've ordered studies from my local library, but there isn't much that's really relevant. Our biggest concern right now is her gag-choking thing she does.
