I'm curious, but is this your first child? You sound awfully know-it-all and booksmart, and yet you seem to be discounting the experiences of other women who have actually had kids. Yes, you are a unique and individual person, we get that. We all are. Hearing how other women experienced childbirth and nursing, how they experienced their hospitals, doctors and nurses can be a very valuable tool, if you let it. Some women were adamant that their child would have NO formula, and yet a nurse went against their wishes and their child was supplemented with formula. How does that fit into your plans?
You sound very rigid in what you want -- I think you want it for all the right reasons, but if you stay that rigid, you won't likely have the birth you are expecting, since births rarely go as we plan, and then you are at a higher risk for post partum depression. You know the old saying, "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans." -- John Lennon.

Of course we all wish you the best, and hope you have the birth that you want, as well as get the baby to nurse as quickly as you want. BUT, in the off chance that things don't go as you hope they do, don't go according to your plan, it might be helpful for you to know how other women experienced things, and have some backup plans... --
