Thanks to everyone who responded with meal plans for what foods toddlers eat outside the U.S. last time this message was posted a few weeks ago. Your responses have been noted and will go towards a fun and informative article for parents everywhere.
itchy, scratchy rashHi, again -- I mentioned earlier that some people can live eczema-free if they eliminate allergens. I did NOT mean to imply that...
I am hoping to gather more comments from anyone who might not have seen the original post, or those who wish to contribute with additional feedback, as the focus has changed a bit.
THE QUESTION IS: What do toddlers (about 2 to 4 years old) eat during LUNCHTIME in your country? What sort of sweets or dessert would they get on the side (if any)?
A couple of things to keep in mind when responding: á The focus is NOT on "healthy" foods. Although it's natural that certain countries are more health-conscious than others, I am more interested in popular foods, healthy or just fun. Think of the question as: if you asked 7 out of 10 parents what they feed their kids, what would they say? á If you feed your toddler a meal that is not typical for your country, please say so. á The query is mainly for non-American parents who live in the U.S. or other countries. Please mention which country you're referring to when responding.
Thanks again to those who've already given their excellent feedback. I hope this is the start of another fascinating discussion amongst parents of the world.
