bizby40 ------------------ Parents who do NOT offer that, AND do not insist on their housmate's sharing the burden, will neither get their children's respect, at ANY age, nor their pleasing presence. This society is rife with moronic generations of people whose children simply leave these days, hardly seeing them again on good terms! And why?
The society that promotes the nuclear family breeds illicit immoral power relationships, taking ignorant children who have never ever experienced domestic political equality and then simply hands them virtually total power over THEIR OWN children, and NEVER manages to teach ANYONE to respect and honor the rights of children or other people as equals in the home, and which isolates each little nuclear cracker-box "fiefdom" as if it were a kingdom with a monarch and slaves, no equals at all whom they must learn to respect, and never teaching anyone how to respect or honor anyone else as an equal! No wonder half of all marriages fail, and domestic violence is out of control! The ONLY relationship this society teaches is dominance and submission!! No wonder Democracy isn't working in America!! No one has the vaguest idea what respect and equality MEAN! Each little vicious sucker is in it strictly for what he can get!
A truly SANE society would CULL people who couldn't be taught to be political equals, and to cooperate for the common good, BOTH in the home AND in the broader society. Steve
