OT: prepping dinner for family how much pasta

Nope. Store the plain cooked pasta (rinsed and cooled) in a ziploc plastic baggie, and when you want to re-heat it, add a couple of tablespoons of water (in the bag) and nuke it on 70% power in the microwave for a couple of minutes, until hot (with bag vented). I flip the bag a couple of times while reheating. Works like a charm.

LOL...I cook and store pasta this way all the time because DS is a huge pasta lover. It works best with pasta that has individual pieces (rotini, shells, bow-ties, penne, radiatore, etc.) but also works with spaghetti or linguini, once you get the hang of it. I cook pasta once a week and he eats off of it for 3-4 days. If it goes bad, you will know - it will smell sour.

I will cook some, use it with my meat-based tomato sause (Italian), then maybe with a pesto or veggie-garlic-butter sauce another day (great with shrimp), and then use some for tuna pasta salad, or Italian pasta salad. DS just likes his plain or with butter, or as macaroni salad (pasta, Miracle whip, celery seed, black pepper, chopped carrots, chopped celery, chopped green pepper).

I disagree. You're right that urine is produced 24 hours a day; however, the rate of production...

Does that answer your questions?
