Yes, the first paragraph of that article, about pinworms, is largely correct. But then come the next two sentences:

"In diabetes, worms are in the pancreas. With epilepsy, they are in the brain. In multiple sclerosis, they are what is eating the myelin sheaths off the exposed nerve endings. (It is a misconception that the immune system of the body is attacking itself in MS)"

LadyLollipop Conventional doctors look for parasites when there is a reasonable beleif that the patient may have picked up one. No conventional doctor looks for...

This is all total bullpoo. Although helminth ovae have been found in human pancreases, this is very rare and is not buttociated with diabetes. Generally, the pancreas of a diabetic is as likely to be as that of a non-diabetic except for the lack of or poor functioning of the isles of Langerhans, the cells which produce insulin. Worms in the pancreas are NOT the cause of diabetes. It is NOT a "misconception" that multiple sclerosis is an auto-immune disease. The notion that little worms are eating the sheaths off the nerves is as looney as an idea can get. Do you really think that physiologists who have spent their entire careers could have missed these alleged worms?

"Parasites are seldom picked up on blood tests, as they largely travel at night, not in the day when blood tests are generally given. Since they live in the liver, pancreas, lungs, bile duct, brain, muscles, joints, appendix, small intestine, large intestine, prostate, uterus, fallopian tubes, privates, and gall bladder, they are difficult to detect."

Since you are not a doctor, it seems these symptoms would not be reported to you. Kids...

What? they think that hospital labs close down at night, and no blood is ever drawn before 6 a.m.? I've personally have collected GALLONS of blood during the night shifts, and, since the most commonly ordered blood test, the complete blood count (CBC), requires looking at the blood with a microscope, SOMEBODY would have noticed those parasites. I suppose parasites must have little wris****ches . . . "Uh oh, it's almost morning. Let's go hide in the brain or the privates or somewhere before the phlebotamist gets here."

"Unfortunately, too, allopathic medicine deals largely with the relief and or masking of symptoms, rather than eliminating the root causes of symptoms."

But alternative medicine gets right to the root of the problem, and treats the "parasites" without even identifying what kind of parasites are there or determining just where in the body the parasites are. Bullpoo. Brad-Chad claims his parasites were diagnosed because his doctor, "realized that ONLY parasites could be causing my specific set of symptoms." No blood tests. No stool analysis or cultures. There are very few diseases of any kind that can be diagnosed from symptoms alone, and NO parasitic infections can be properly diagnosed this way.

There is no "*organized medicine*". There is no "denial". There IS a medical specialty called parasitology, and what is known about parasites could fill a small library.

Because many of the "alternative medicine" websites quote Hulda's "Cure For All Diseases" on the subject of parasites (with or without attribution). I don't care if you mention her or not, she is the source of a lot of bullpoo about the role of parasites in disease. --
