Diane Lindsey Reeves is the creator and principal author of the Career Ideas for Kids series. Her work as a writer revolves around one common theme - helping people figure out what they want to be when they grow up.

She is the author or co-author of 15 books (and counting). The Career Ideas for Kids series is extra special to her because they represent the books she wishes she'd had when she was a kid.

After finishing up the last 4 titles in the Career Ideas for Kids series, Reeves will concentrate on developing a new series that blends fiction with career exploration as readers solve mysteries involving some of their favorite products -- blue jeans, make-up, fast food, etc.

That plus developing some new career resources for high school students should keep her plenty busy!

Reeves lives in Raleigh, North Carolina and enjoys traveling with her husband and two daughters. Their latest "on the road" adventure involved a trip to Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, and Hong Kong.
