I wasn't entirely sure if that was a serious comment or not ...
Anyway, did you know about CTRA's Player Target feature?
If you bring up the CTRA tab, you can right-click on a players name, and set them as a "Player Target" (you can have up to 10).
The player targets appear on the screen in the same way the raid groups or MT targets do, so if you don't want the clutter of all the raid groups, you can turn off the raid display but still show up to 10 players that you're interested in.
This is also very useful if you're in a big raid and you're asked to look after a particular group of people.
Another useful peice of CTRA functionality that might help you with the EM: if you right-click the words "Emergency Monitor" you'll get a menu that will let you restrict the clbuttes and-or groups that the EM displays.
This is useful if, for example, you only need to look after mages. Or in the Onyxia encounter where half of the groups might go one side of the dragon, and the other half go the other side; just stop the EM displaying the groups that you know will be out of range.
