I am specifically talking about the successful large endgame raiding guilds and although ZG and AQ20 might be involved I am referring to MC, BWL and AQ40.
Guild sanctions 1040If the parents who are physically present and who have a legal authority and responsibility lack any effective control over these adolescents and teenagers, what the heck are we meant to be doing from...
Yes So what are you disagreeing with me about? The compebreastion for DKP is always tough.. The time you expended was significant and my enitre point to begin with, is about kids, young people or people who because of there real life should not be spending so many endless hours all bunched up together to play WOW. Fact is, whether anyone wants to admit it or not it is COMMON for many kids, teenagers and college age, to be playing wow 30-40 or more hours per week at a very crucial time in their life. Denial seems evident. people try to sidestep the issue by saying its parents fault. Others say there is no problem here.
Guild sanctions 1039Such naivete or denial, not sure which. Bottom line is if 40 Tier 0-blue geared people in a guild seeking Tier 1 sets weapons trinkets and rings to complete their goals...
When someone says "I can do it 5 hours a week" I have said that is not really true exept in rare occasions--and I am barely mentioning the many hours one needs to prepare for these things. People are in denial.
Guild leaders are in denial and many guilds are irresponsible and I hope Blizzard is aware of the issue and before we have 20 million children, teenagers and college student losers holed up in imaginary dungeous for 40 hours a week, they rework it and start placing some age restrictions and demand parental involovment. It is their game and their market and unless they want it to explode in their face they need to rework some things. WOW has gone far beyond the "hard core gamer community."
