If people are doing AQ and getting DKP for items in AQ the guild will probably carry over the leftover DKP. There is the expansion pack coming out and that will no doubt have new reasons to use one's DKP.
Guild sanctions 1039Such naivete or denial, not sure which. Bottom line is if 40 Tier 0-blue geared people in a guild seeking Tier 1 sets weapons trinkets and rings to complete their goals go into MC...
The 'fair chance" of getting items will still be the same.
When I am bringing up attrition, I am using that to counter the idea that because a whole guild is already geared that attending a raid once a week for 5 hours will then mean it will be easy to finally get gear (which also buttumes a guild will allow that in the first place--many of them wouldn't) because of a usual attrition rate in a guild, people leaving for whatever reason. This means that new people who are willing to attend 3-4 days a week or more will always be joining---thus the poor person who can only attend once a week is always going to be up against people with more DKP.
The exception to all of this, that COULD possibly help one get gear alot quicker would be if a brand new Guild formed that had recruited out of defections from other endgame guilds that had imploded or were losing people because of a big outbreak of drama, and they ended up with alot of very geared up people and you happened to join when they had a severe shortage of your clbutt. THEN you might have a better chance of getting armor quicker then usual.
For instance, Warlocks or Priests are usually in Short supply and you might get lucky in a newly formed guild of uberly equipped player to be able to show uop onve a week and still get some items before they finished filling up you clbutt with full time players.
Is that clear as mud?
