The aggro reduce thing is true (and it is by a percentage value, for the first time of a boss, which is why he suddenly switches tanks). However we don't let ranged get a knockback. Instead we simply let the groups (odd and even) stop for 10%. That is to say, from 100% to 90% only people in odd groups deal damage, from 90% to 80% only those in even groups, etc. This is sufficient to ensure no ranged attacker ever tops the warriors (unless too many die but then its often a wipe anyway)

He's rather easy with that variant, too. As with all aggro-sensitive bosses, hunters FD and rogues feint whenever they can.

We also buttign a priest to each tank if we have enough. This priest never switches target and instantly shields + casts a greater heal on an incoming mortal strike plus generally heals his tank up. All other healers immediately switch target with Lashlayer and heal his current target. That way no tank should go down at all which also ensures stable aggro on the tanks. (The fewer tanks, the more likely it is that he breaks out due to his aggro reduce effect)
